Advertising and marketing professionals around the world are honoring the memory of Miguel Ángel Furones, chairman of Publicis Iberia, following his passing at the age of 71.

The former chief creative officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide, a network of 96 advertising agencies in 94 countries, Furones played a wide variety of roles in the Spanish and global ad industries, including launching an agency that was acquired by Leo Burnett, ushering in his decades-long relationship with the network and parent company Publicis.

He was a phenomenal talent, a Spanish legend, with a passion for creativity.
