‘Dang, Dana’: Connecticut News Director Lauded for Longevity

By Mark Joyella

Hartford-New Haven CBS affiliate WFSB served up some newsroom cake this week to honor news director Dana Neves on a decade running the market’s top-rated newsroom.

As The Laurel reports (in a story headlined “Dang, Dana That’s a Heckuva Run”), Neves has achieved “an almost unheard of tenure for a TV news director.” Even more remarkable, The Laurel notes, is Neves’ in-house climb: she arrived at the station as an intern in 1995.

It seems the anniversary cake was so short-lived it didn’t even survive intact for the photo, appearing with several significant chunks missing.
