The return of Geico’s gecko is always good news. Here, the green guy mulls an image change: Should he get more serious and dress accordingly in a tiny suit? You have to wonder, was it bought off the rack? If so, alterations will be required to accommodate his tail. No matter, the cockney Gecko oozes more charm than ever. The spot’s cute and quick; it doesn’t overstay its welcome. In terms of commercial evolution, the gecko’s ages ahead of Geico’s cavemen, whose boneheaded shtick is positively Stone Age.
