ABRAMS to Launch a New Nonfiction Imprint

ABRAMS Logo (GalleyCat)ABRAMS announced plans to launch an imprint that focuses on “text-driven” narrative nonfiction. At this point in time, the company has not revealed a name for this new venture.

Jamison Stoltz has been hired as an executive editor who will lead the imprint. He and his team intends to acquire 12 to 15 projects on a yearly basis.

Stoltz shared this statement with Shelf Awareness: “I’m delighted to be coming to Abrams at this exciting time for the company and to work with such a talented team of publishing professionals. Abrams has a stellar reputation for making beautiful books, and I’m thrilled to be joining them to publish original narrative titles that build on the company’s strengths.” (via Publishing Trends)
