Jill Schwartzman, an executive editor, negotiated the deal with Richard Abate, a literary agent from 3 Arts Entertainment. The publication date has been set for May 2017.

According to the press release, this book will contain “stories about Goldsmith’s truly fascinating life both in and out of Hollywood: getting shot by John Wayne, competing with Dustin Hoffman, drinking with Tennessee Williams, and sailing the high seas with Fernando Lamas, and romancing many lovely ladies. Much more than a memoir, the book will be a truly daring and bold tale, and a manifesto about taking chances, not giving up, making courageous choices, and living an adventurous life.”
