LA CityBeat Online Archives Disappear
Almost a year ago, LA CityBeat closed up shop, never to print again. Its online archives, however, lingered — all stories dating back to 2005 remained on the paper’s website for nearly a year.
Now, however, those too are gone. The site has been removed and any attempt to access old stories is met with the old “404 Not Found.” All that remains of the paper now is Google cache and an abandoned building on Wilshire.
Sad.
