Scholastic’s Graphix Imprint Launches a Talent Search Contest

GRX000 Graphix Logo LockupScholastic announced the launch of a talent search contest for debut comic artists. Each winner will receive an offer to have their work published by the Graphix imprint as well as a $15,000 advance.

The submission deadline has been set for April 1, 2017. The organizers will select up to five winners. Click here to read all of the rules and requirements.

David Saylor, the founder and editorial director of Graphix, gave this statement in the press release: “This search will expand our outreach beyond those already involved in the publishing world, giving us the opportunity to welcome new, innovative, diverse talent to our Graphix list. We look forward to receiving a variety of submissions across all genres, with strong storytelling and engaging art.
