Double Day Books for Young Readers to Launch the Coloring Classic Series

Pride & Prejudice Coloring (GalleyCat)The team at Doubleday Books for Young Readers plans to publish five all-ages coloring books for the Coloring Classic series.

The literary classics that served as the inspiration for these titles include Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, and Charles Dickens’ A Chrismas Carol. The group of illustrators who worked on these books include Chellie Carroll, Renia Metallinou, Bethan Janine, Elisabetta Stoinich, Kate Ware, and Vladimir Aleksic.

This series will be kicked off by the publication of Pride and Prejudice and Romeo and Juliet on July 5. Dracula will come out on August 30. Wuthering Heights will be released on September 27. A Christmas Carol will follow on October 18.
