On second thought, no, she won’t “be there.”
Hillary Clinton has reportedly decided not to attend a town hall scheduled for Friday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America. “Due to a scheduling issue, the Good Morning America town hall event with Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton will not be airing tomorrow,” the network said in a statement.
Earlier this month, the Democratic presidential front-runner told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos she would appear on what was at the time a proposed GMA debate with Bernie Sanders. “I’ll be there,” she said.
When the Democrats agreed to tonight’s Brooklyn debate on CNN, the GMA event became a town hall meeting.
ABC is reportedly hoping to reschedule the town hall with Clinton, while Monday’s town hall event with Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is still going ahead.
