Nat Wolff to Star in the Death Note Film Adaptation

Death Note (GalleyCat)Nat Wolff will star in the Death Note film adaptation. In the past, Wolff has taken on roles in several book-based projects including Paper Towns, The Fault in Our Stars, and Palo Alto.

Here’s more from The Hollywood Reporter: “The story centers on a student who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim’s name. He then decides to cleanse the world of those he deems evil. As the student is tracked by a reclusive police officer, a cat-and-mouse game ensues.”

According to Variety, the movie’s source material comes from a popular Japanese manga. Adam Wingard has signed on as the director. Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Jason Hoffs, and Masi Oka will serve as producers. (via The Daily Beast)
