Time Warner Cable and Charter cable subscribers are fighting mad right now. The fight of the century — which they paid $99 for (or $89 in standard def, but who’d do that?) — is not available for some customers. Even singer John Legend expressed his frustration on Twitter:

A TVNewser emailer told us there was a 45-minute wait for help from Time Warner Cable, but that eventually service was restored. The high demand for the fight is causing the delayed transmission for all. The companies took to Twitter to explain:

CNBC reports Cox Communications, Verizon and Comcast customers are also having trouble. Sports Illustrated reports the fight is being delayed as the PPV issues are worked out:

Eventually, even Legend got his PPV back. But on Twitter, he wished he could cut the cord, and go satellite.

Saturday Night Live, which has a new episode tonight, opened the show with a “pirated” broadcast of the fight. “Some of the visuals may appear distorted. For example, Floyd Mayweather may appear slightly taller while Manny Pacquiao may appear to be a white woman with a fake goatee and a t-shirt.”
