Faber & Faber Teams With Perseus to Enter U.S. Market Directly

By Dianna Dilworth

London-based publisher Faber & Faber is teaming up with The Perseus Books Group to publish its print and digital books and enter the U.S. market directly.

Previously the publisher would publish Farber titles in the United States through Farrar, Straus and Giroux (FSG), but that partnership ended back in February. Working with Perseus, Faber will now publish its titles directly in the United States using Perseus’ digital technology. Publishers Group West (PGW) will now represent Faber’s titles to booksellers in the United States.

To support this push into the U.S. market, Farber plans to hire marketing and publicity resources to help push the 60 new titles a year they plan to bring to the U.S. market. The books will cover everything from music and film to crime and children’s.  The first Faber list in the U.S. will be published in the Spring of 2016.
