Several changes have been made to the staff at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Two new hires will join the editorial department and six current members of the publishing house’s team have received promotions.
Helen Atsma will leave Grand Central Publishing to take on the executive editor position. Alex Littlefield will leave Basic Books to take on the senior editor role.
Ken Carpenter has been named vice president and associate publisher. Jenna Johnson has been named executive editor. Nicole Angeloro has been named editor. Ben Hyman has been named associate editor. Naomi Gibbs has been named associate editor. Laney Everson has been named editorial associate.
